Architecture of Literary Worker
The Foreign Style House of the Chen's of HeMei is an classic architecture by the literary worker Chen Xugu with an artcraft of artist. It is almost as old as Min Guo. It is a building belonging to the period of Japanese colonization. Though it is more than 100 years old, it is still stands quite well and is a memorable symbolic building.

Construction Style
As said by the old people living in the town, the house was built on farmland and had gone through the flood in the 48th year of Min Guo and the 9.21 earthquake. Thanks to the sound foundation, it didn't collapse. What's more, it is equipped with a perfect water system, too.

Architectures with a Combination of West and East Styles
The construction style of HeMei Ancient Foreign House, which combines the styles of both Chinese and West Countries, has contributed to its fame. The stones on the roof show the style of the owner of nature. When one sees that for the first time, one will be overwhelmed by the thought and manner of the owner. Although the building is not selected into the category of ancient miracles because it is not old enough, it is still a memorable house of humanitarianism and history value. |
