Development

　As to HeMei textile, it started from the clothes that was used to bind feet in the period of Japanese colonization in the 30 th years of Min Guo. Then it developed into manual sewing. Till the liberation of Taiwan , it became hood and so on. Because of the widening of the clothes, HeMei textile had won fame and it was in the 36 th year of Min Guo that textile industry boomed thanks to the financial support of the USA . There are about 50 textile manufactures in Taizhong County and HeMei. They formed a unit to double the economic power. And they manufactured with mechanism to speed up the manufacturing. And lattice clothes was popular at that time. And the use of mechanism equipment had set a foundation for the further development of textile industry.

Brief Introduction

　aiwan used to be famous for its hemp instead of cotton. But in the years of Japanese colonization, the government promoted the production of cotton and textile industry to meet the needs of war. And because of HeMei people's diligence, when the government implemented textile regulations in the 60s, HeMei textile had won fame all over Taiwan .
