　The original name of HeMei Town is Ka Li Shan, which is the language of Barrza. It means the place where heat and coldness meets and a place of mild climate and beautiful scenery. When HeMei was explored, it was devided into Babura and Asock.
On October 1, 9 th year of Min Guo, HeMei Town was established and the name of HeMei as today started to be in use. Since the ancients' exploration, this town has had a history of 300 years. It is by the sweat and effort donated by the ancients generation after generation that make today's HeMei an economic town. And the town is famous worldwide for its textile, umbrella, and food.
